Understanding ICSE Mathematics Class- IXA new feature ‘Multiple Choice Questions’ has been added in each chapter. These questions have been framed in a manner such that they holistically cover all the concepts included in the chapter and also, prepare students for the competitive exams. This is further followed by a ‘Chapter Test’ which serves as the brief revision of the entire chapter. Section A : It contains five Chapters that deal with the enforcement of the Constitution, Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Police, Composition of Election Commission and working of Indian Government, with particular reference to the Rural and Urban Local Self-Government. In a Capitalist economy profit maximisation provides the main motivation for enterprise and hardwork. Socialism, on the other hand, provides a more humane and socially useful alternative (Ch. 14).
