The Lighthouse Series, designed on the basis of the new ICSE syllabus, is a set of course books for grades 1 to 8. The series guides the learner into learning language through the study of literature. Each course book takes a progressive approach to learning, with the chapters broken up into three levels of learning:
Elementary, intermediate and advanced. The series features a set of challenging and exciting texts from a wide range of literary genres, periods and forms, followed by a range of activities and exercises that enable learning in the areas of comprehension, vocabulary, listening and speaking, grammar usage and writing. The course books are supplemented by practice books that provide sufficient material to reinforce the learning from the course books.
