It covers in details notice of dishonour, noting and protest, dishonour by non- acceptance, dishonour by non-payment, notice of dishonour, mode in which notice may be given, Noting and protest, contents of protest, etc The book specially cover crossing of cheques, different types of crossing, collection of cheques, statutory protection available to bankers and payment of cheques. When the payment should not be made and how the payment in due course can be ensured. It covers in details section 138 to 148 handling dishonour of cheques due to insufficient funds. The most important aspects is inclusion of objective type questions with each chapter. The book contains nine chapters and bare act on N I act, 1881 in 176 pages. The legal cases are referred as and where required and these includes cases in High Courts and Supreme Court. The latest important cases upto Sept.19 are covered with detail notes.
