Introduction to Banking

The basic purpose for which banks came into being was deposit mobilization and credit dispensation, which in a short form can be called 3-6-3 banking. It is not the same any more as the major agenda of the banks is to multiply profits through an array of services like insurance, mutual fund, and wealth management to customers.
